The Yacht Club of Hilton Head offers a unique blend of nautical and social activities. Every Friday members gather for a delightful dinner, enjoying a variety of cuisines with a view of the Broad Creek and it's spectacular sunsets. The club is also known for its boating excursions, where members can experience the joy of being on the water without the need to own a boat. Whether you’re an experienced sailor or new to the water, there’s an opportunity to join as crew and learn the ropes. Beyond boating, the club hosts a range of social functions, fostering a community spirit among sea enthusiasts and social members alike. It’s a place where maritime passion and friendly gatherings coalesce, creating memorable experiences for all.

The Yacht Club of Hilton Head Island was founded in 1971 by a dedicated group of sailors and is the oldest yacht club on the island.
WHO ARE WE?

We are a boating club and a social club. Members come from all walks of life and live on the island and off the island. We share a passion for being on the water and the laid-back island life style. We are an all volunteer club. The primary purpose of the club is to provide activities to members that are fun and enriching. We do this by providing a variety of boating activities and a dynamic social calendar. Members are good neighbors on the water and on the land. We care about the health of our waters.
